Greetings from the train to Prague! We will arrive around noon today (Thursday) and stay until Monday morning. We are incredibly excited for long weekend exploring the city!

Last night we all had a great time at a Bratislava hockey game. The kids had never experienced a professional hockey game before in the US and they really had fun!
We were pleasantly surprised by how affordable the tickets were and the food, too. Speaking of food, klobasa is traditional throughout Slovakia and one of the main food offerings at the arena. It is served on a paper rectangular plate with ketchup and mustard squirted on the plate. You're expected to just reach into a bread basket on the counter and grab the bread you want.
Earlier in the day, Doug took the kids to the park after school and packing for Prague were taken care of. Alone time has been hard to come by for all of us and I hadn't had any since we left the US! I roamed around Old Town for a bit before settling in at a cafe with my book.
